Hello,

I have installed 10.d on a 2k3 server and the service never starts.

Backup Exec Agent Browser - Started
Backup Exec Devices & Media Services - Started
Backup Exec Job Engine - NOT STARTED
Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Server - Started
Backup Exec Server - NOT STARTED

When I try to manually start I get the following error...

Error 1068 - Dependecy service or group failed.

The event viewer error I get is....

The Backup Exec Server Service did not start. An internal error (-2147467259) occurred in object 17.

Thanks

Steve

After installing sp4 to v10 of Backup exec I receive the following:

The Backup Exec Server Service did not start. An internal error (-536813108) occurred in object 1.

Schema version mismatch.
