Installation problem / V-225-205 / Backup Exec 2012

Hi,

I'm tring to install Backup Exec to Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. When i do pre-installation, i get everthing ok except avti-virus. I use Administrator account to install and use for Backp Exec but install rolls back when it comes to end. I attached log files.

Backup Exec 2012

Windows Server 2008 R2 Standart SP1

Intel Pentium D 3.00Ghz
3.00 GB ram
64 bit operations system

Hi,

I used to have issues with McAfee AV stopping the installation when SQL Express was being installed. I got around this by stopping and disabling the AV during the installation.

Do so and try the installation again, and report back.

I don't use AV and Firewall

Would you try installing just the SQL instance first and then move on to the product installation. Use this KB for manually installing the instance - http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH87111

As i said before, i don't use AV and Firewall. I followed the link you send and now it's working. Thanks for help. Now it's working.
