Hi,

Any one configured SymantecBackupexec2010R2 with Vmware 4.1 for GRT backup.

I have not checked out the SAN transport method but in my test in a lab the regular over the network transport no ssl is painfully slow, no bottlenecks, no reasonable explanation just plain slow 500MB/min, not really something I can work with when I have terrabytes to backup, have to stick to PHD for now I guess. keep my fingers crossed and see if someone figures out whats wrong with it, and I'll keep trying as much as I can and maybe I put in a ticket but that goes slow as well ;)

I hooked up to the san and the speed is just as bad too about 800MB/min yet an old fashion regular backup speed is twice faster, I will be very intersted to know at this point what speeds are other people getting, I have not found much on the subject, maybe am the only one?

2500-4000MB/min for me on SAN transport.  Start a new thread if you have an issue.
