Inventory cannot be run

Hi,
I had a power outage at my office several weeks ago and it may be the root of my problem.
I'm using Backup Exec 10d - it was set up before I was on the scene, and I don't know much about this program - it has run almost flawlessly since I arrived in September.
Now I have problems. When I try to run an inventory, the status is 'Ready. No idle devices available.'
This may be something very basic - as I said, I'm new to this program.

hi, try this
1. Go into the Windows Device Manager.
2. Check the Medium Changer drivers.  If the Medium Changer OEM Drivers are listed, change to the Unknown Medium Changer driver.
3. Shut the server all the way down, power cycle the library until it as at an online, ready state, then boot the server.

Hello,

I would suggest a complete network powercycle
1  : Turn OFF the Backup Exec Server.
2  : Turn OFF the tape Library and disconnect the Library
3  : Turn ON the Server (This will delete all the entries for the Library from the Operating System)
4  : Turn OFF the Server and connect the Library
5  : Turn ON the Library first, let it boot
6  : Turn ON the Server
7  : Check the Device Manager if the Library is Listed or not.
8  : If its listed, check Backup Exec if the Library is listed or not...

Please let me know if you face any issues....
