Hello,

Please verify this technote.

"Directory or File was not found, or could not be accessed" (a00084af HEX or e00084af HEX) is reported when a backup job using the Advanced Open File Option fails.

If you take the backups on tape are they working fine?

Thanks,

Did you create "Backup to Disk folder on removable media" or a standard Backup to Disk on the USB drive?

When using USB or Fireware removable drives, they MUST be mounted on the same drive letter everytime that you mount them, or backup exec will not find them.

Hi,

What is the error now that you receive, or are you still facing the same issue?

Also did you create a removable B2D folder or just a normal B2D folder?
