I am running Backup Exec 12.5 rev 2213. I had "Keep Job History" set to 6 months. Unfortunately, now I need to go back more than 6 months. Is there a way to recover Job history from more than 6 months ago? I have all the necessary backups but what do I need to recover. All I really need is the job log and not the data itself.
I do need to keep existing job history so I guess I would like to know if there is a way to merge existing data with older one?
When you set your job history retention time, it only keeps that data for x-amount of time. After that it purges it.
If you had an older backup of your database, it should be possible to recover what you wanted.
