Just installed a clean version of Backup Exec 11d on a Windows Server 2003 R2 w/SP2 using the default instance of the local (to the server) SQL 2000 SP4 server. Jobs are finishing and when I go into the Job History (doesn't matter which) I get a "Job Log Display Error" stating "The job log for this job may not be generated".
I have went through and double checked my version of the XML and made sure it was patched (both version 4 and 6 are on this server) and have re-registered the DLLs. I also removed all old XML files from the data directory for Backup Exec. Ran a test job same error. I went back into the Data directory and it did not even create an XML file for the job.
Is there a way to correct this? I looked through the knowledge base but was unable to find a fix. I would prefer to fix this than wipe the install and start over.
