Job rates slow after updating to FP5

I'm having issues with a couple jobs. Ever since I installed FP5 and related hotfixes, 3 of 10 jobs lost half, and one in particular lost 3/4ths, of their job rate speed.

I've updated all of the agents with no issues. Can't be related to updates because all of the servers get the same ones. All the jobs are for VM servers, so the 3 in particular are no different from the ones running fine. 

I'm unsure of how to proceed. Can anyone help?

Your issue seems to be enviornment specific, hence required further clarification. Could you please clarify as which specific servers/application having slow backup performance ? Is there any other changes in your enviornment which has occured to all problematic servers ? Anything specifc common on these servers ? Also, have you tried running backup to any other storage ?
