Job starts backing up then fails with "e00084e9 - No media in storage device."

Windows Small Business Server 2003 - Backup Exec 12.5

I am working on a backup system right now that uses an external Dell RD1000 to backup to disk. When I start the backup job everything goes fine and it starts backing up but will then fail at a different spot every time with the error e00084e9 - No media in storage device. But the cartridge is still in and accessible...

I have done the following:

- Formatted the drive
- Recreated backup to disk folder
- Disabled GRT

Any ideas???? Need to get this fixed ASAP!

Backup exec works fine provided at the end it fails with v-79-57344-33925 error .
Please provide me solution for a successful Backup.
