Job status ready; No idle devices are available

Backup exec stopped working, I noticed that the services were stopped.  I restarted the services now I get a status that says "Ready; No idle devices are available".  I also noticed in the Storage that the drive is offline.

right click on the drive and elect the online option to put it back online.

You can try to reboot the backup exec server....
