Hello,
Please tell us the following:
a. Does this problem occur after an upgrade or application of a service pack or hotix.
b. Did the jobs work fine before and have stopped after some changes made? if so what changes were made in the backup exec configuration.
c. When was backup exec installed.
1. Running and queued jobs can be seen on the tab: 'Job monitor' If you configure a new job and click 'Run Now', please check the job status in the job monitor.
2. Under the tab 'Alerts' please check for device alerts.
3. In order to isolate the issue: If you are currently running backups to tape please try the same backups to disk.
4. In the job configuration check what device you are selecting. Do not select the all device pool, instead select the particular device.
5. You may run a database repair since it could be corrupt:
