Job will not auto re-schedule upon completion

I have a job that is scheduled, by a policy, on the first day of the month as a FULL BACKUP against files on our file server. Then it is scheduled, by the same policy, to run Mon thru Fri as a DIFFERENTIAL BACKUP against the same file server backing up only changed files.

It completed on the first day of the month successfully and re-schedule ditself for next month. The daily schedule however completes successfully everyday but will not re-schedule itself upon completion. I have several other jobs scheduled the same way but doing Full Backups of various servers and when they complete they re-schedule themselves for the next day without issue.

What gives? Anyone have any ideas where I would look to resolve this?

I had a similar problem.

There appears to be many PITA issues that come up when using policies that can't be identified because they don't log errors in obvious places. The old policy and selection settings seem to hang around and keep causing the problems otherwise.

I had to delete ALL of my policies AND my selections lists and start over completely to clear mine up.

May I suggest bacula instead? http://www.bacula.org
