Jobs stayed Queued

I'm using Backupexec 11d build 7170.  All my tape backup jobs stay queued. 
 
There are no SCSI errors in the event log, but I replaced the tape drive, SCSI cable, and controller card anyway. Backup to disk jobs run, inventory and scan jobs to the tape run.  This started after a backup job that copied 8gig of data stopped.  I canceled the job after 16 hours. There are no alerts.
 
I've restarted the server, checked that Veritas tape drivers are being used, recreated the backup jobs,and more.
 
I opened a case with support over a week ago but they don't have a clue and closed the case.
 
Any suggestions.  Is there a backup product that works since this one is horrible?

Can you PM me the case number?  I would like to take a look at what they did or did not do.

I sent the case number via PM, did you look at it?

Tech support called and changed a few setting but still the backups failed.

Woops, I completely missed your PM.  I am looking at the case now, and it looks like the case was closed yesterday.  I'm assuming you are still having an issue then?

My jobs are still queued, so back to my original post. 

Can anyone suggest backup software that works? This one consistently fails and support can't help.
