Large Incrementals for SharePoint 2010 backups on BE 2012

I have an agent installed on my SharePoint server and I'm backing up the whole server. It's a recent add to our backup jobs. I've noticed that it is consistently giving me daily incrementals of 250GB of changed data. I know it's getting nearly no use from my company as we're in the initial phases of ramping up into SharePoint. In comparison, I've got incrementals of our Exhchange server, all the DBs for Dynamics, the file server, a few virtual machines, and it's only like 30-50GB for the daily incrementals. I do not have dedupication for the SharePoint server, but if I did purchase it would it reduce the size of the backups? I'm assuming this large size is due to our pre-allocated DBs in SharePoint that aren't full? Thoughts?

Thanks. It's disappointing it is so large. I hope Symantec finds a new solution to this problem.
