I am using backup exec 11d for windows and the legacy unix client to backup my AIX server. I have implemented at 2 other sites without issue. But at this site I get the following error:
Error category : Security Errors
Error : e000fe29 - Authentication failed on connection to the server. Make sure that the user account has the appropriate permissions and that the password was typed correctly.
I have searched the support forum and found multiple suggestions and have tried the recurring themes. I have verified that I am using the correct veritas system account among other things. I am truley confused as I am able to connect to the host with my system account and create a selection list and I am also able to do a test run of the job and verify the credentials successfully. Yet when I try and submit the job to run I get the above error.
