Hi,
my Backup Exec 2012 Media Server works well for about 2 years with 2 connected Tape Librarys (Qauntum Superloader & HP MSL), each with only one tape drive!
Since one week I get every hour an error:
"(Server: "XYZ") Library Expansion Option-Lizenzverletzung. Dieser Server ist zur Unterstützung von 0 Medienlaufwerke in Wechslern lizenziert. Die Anzahl an momentan verwendeten Medienlaufwerken übersteigt jedoch diese Lizenz. Sie müssen zusätzliche Lizenzen für Library Expansion Option erwerben oder 1 Medienlaufwerk deaktivieren. In der Produktdokumentation finden Sie weitere Informationen."
Can anybody help? Symantec Knowledge Base was not helpful.

Since when have the alerts started occuring ?
Have you tried to delete the storage devices from BE and then re-adding it ?
Have a you tried a power-cycle as well ?

Can you attach the adamm.log as well. Thanks.

Hi pkh,
thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, my customer has no maintenance contract with Symantec. So I can't open a support case.
All my other Backup Exec-Customers have no problems.
Hi VJware,
here is the adamm.log.

From 10 Dec onwards, the second library is showing as disabled. Is that the case ?

Hi VJware,
yes that is correct. The second library is currently not used (it is an older Quantum Superloader 3), so i disabled it.

Hi VJware,
I will try this, but (unfortunately...) has my customer company holidays until January, the 2nd. I'll contact you again.
Thank You
