I am currently running an Arcvault Tape Library with a HP LTO tape drive. While running on Backup Exec 11d everything worked well. I recently upgraded to Backup Exec 12 , now I keep getting device time out errors when the system needs to change the tape.
I have run updates on the system via the Live Update option. The tape drive then worked to complete the job which runs over 3 tapes, twice. It now crashes again.
I have to now split my backup job into 3 parts so that the tape drive does not need to change tapes during the backup job.
Does anyone else have a similar problem or any idea's on how to fix this once & for all.
