Hi,
I have Symantec Backup Exec 2012 running. Though I have purchased new maintenace contract and have put those in the software, but still red key symbol is there on the main screen (see attached image).
I have confirmed from [Install Options and Licenses on this Backup Exec Server] in [Installation and Licensing] and have verified that the latest end date is of 2015 for all the contracts (see attached).
Is there a solution to turn this red-key to white or green (which it should be).

Hi Rahul,
This doesnt apply to me, as I dont have SP3, rather I have SP2 installed 14.0 1798.1244.
And I am able to take backups. Also, contracts are sown correctly, just the key color is not changing.

Looks like UI defect to me . I beleive you have tried restarting the services .

Restarted services a many times in last few days :(
even the server !!

Again, have you referred to the article I posted above? Have you checked if any alerts need to be responded with OK?
