Every day I run a full backup of a ERP (Totvs Microsiga) system folder with just 7GB from a Linux RHEL 5.5, plus a dumped database with 250GB.
When the system folder is being backed up, the backup data rate stays around 20 MB/s, but when the other files are being backed up, the velocity goes to 650MB/s.
The big problem is that the server was locking out every day during the system folder backup, after save around 2GB. This problem havent been occured anymore since I removed this folder from backup.
Have someone already had this same problem?
I've read something about unselect the "lock remote file" option because BE for Linux doesnt work with open files.
Well, that's it.. I'm a begginer with BackupExec and maybe I'm not seeing something..
