Liveupdate from 12.5 to 2010, licensing

Good evening

After 25 pages of forum I will finally ask my question here.
I have clients in version 12.5 which, by the Live Update, I updated Backup Exec saying that 2010 is available. Should an additional license to apply?
If BE 12.5 just bought another license should I pay?

Sorry for the question but can not find this information.

Hello

 If you upgrade from BE12.5 to BE201o then you need to enter the license key of BE2010.

 BE 12.5 license key will not work with BE2010.

 You may contact licensing team @ 1800-327-2232 and ask them if you are eligible for a free upgrade from BE12.5 to BE2010.

When you have a valid maintenance contract with Symantec, you can upgrade 'for free' to the latested BE 2010R2 version.
