I've recently installed a Windows 2003 x64 server with BEWS11D which works well except for a problem with liveupdate. If there is something to update, the procedure hangs because it always asks for permission to continue the installation of the Symantec tapedriver (a windows security warning). Because liveupdate stops BEWS services during update this causes the backup job to fail. At the moment I've disabled automatic liveupdating but I like to re-enable this in the future. Is there a way to keep this tapedriver update from happening? It seems that this driver update always gets displayed even if there aren't any updated tapedrivers to install. regards, Wanne.
