Load an old Tape to a Catalog fails

Hello Forum,

when we load a tape to an existing catalog, it fails with the error E0000900. Then we follow this document:

After we do this, the tape fails with this error e00084ca - The data being read from the media is inconsistent" when running a tape backup of a remote server

Then we follow this document:

But it do not work, the same error.

What we can do?

is the system that created the tape still available?  if so, does the tape read there OK/

if not, is this the only tape with this problem or do other old tapes behave the same way?
