Hi Team

I am using Backup Exec 2014. My Network team have planned to migrate our current vulnerability monitoring software to another. We need to create

MIB(Management Information Base) Definition for Backup Exec with our new software. What shall I do . Do you have any idea on this

Best Regards

For info there are MIB files for use within SNMP consoles for Backup Exec  located inside the DVD (ISO Image) for the Backup Exec installation media

Path to them is

\BE\WinNT\SNMP\<language code>

Note: we do not provide documentation on how to add them into the SNMP console you are using (or how to configure alerts etc within such a console) as really that documentation would come from the console vendor and not us.

You may have to configure:

- your trap destinations in the operating system of the Backup Exec Server.

- the enablement of SNMP against certain alert categories inside of Backup Exec itself.

Out of curiousity, what alerts do you currently run against your BE server? BeRemote failure etc.?
