So 2010 r2 does not support the mac powerPC platform anymore. OK fine.
Oh, 2010 r2 does not support OS x 10.6 64 bit platform either. Oh, oh. Why did I but the license for it then?
I booted the 10.6 64 bit into 32 bit and tried it again. Got Unable to loaunch Mac Intel installer. Unbelievable, simply unbelievable.
I have read the artilces and have not found an answer without having to muck around in the terminal interface and even then I do not know if the folks succeeded.
Just saying it works does not make it works.
Maybe the answer is in the FORBIDDEN folder!!!

Ok, I got it figured out. One cannot just drag the path to the command line. You have to type in and drill down to the location where installrams is located.
Then it will run if you are in 32 bit mode.
So consider this closed.
