Mail Exchange backup not working

Hi there.

Im using Backup Exec 2010 to backup one for my Exchange Server (2007), Im facing an issue " Exchange Store Services not working".

 

Backup- *********** (Error Im getting)
V-79-57344-65298 - The Exchange Store service is not responding. Backup set canceled.

V-79-57344-65298 - The Exchange Store service is not responding. Backup set canceled.

V-79-57344-65301 - The System State resource is not responding. Backup set canceled.

 

I have set One job for all my server, 3 in total. Checked the Exec database Maintenance Time and its all ok.. Any help here

...not sure if the TN below addresses your issue as you don't give much information on your setup, but check it out...

Furthermore, if you're not running BE 20110 R3 with the latest SP and subsequent patches, I'd recommend an upgrade to this as it is free with maintenance and you use the same keys.

Just stop the BE services and grab manual copies of the Data/Catalogs folders before proceeding with the upgrade which is pretty straight-forward.

Download BE 20101 R3 from the link below, and then Run LiveUpdate to install the latest SP and patches. You will then need to push-install these patches to your remote servers before trying the backup job again.

1. Check the Eventlog on the Exchange server for any crash of the BE remote agent. 2. Do a repair of the .Net Framework on the Exchange server
