Mailboxes missing from Exchange Backup

I have a client that is running Backup Exec for Smaill Business Server 11.d - 6235.

I look at the backup everything says it is successful, however if I go to restore 2 of the users mailbox are not included in the Exchange Information Store backup.

Any thoughts?

Is backup taken on tape drive?

duplicate it to disk and see if you can see it.

Also check if those perticular users have special characters in their display name.

I have the same pb when saving to a tape. If saving to  disk, all mailboxes are here. there is no particularity in these user display names.

Try upgrading to 11d 7170 sp3 which is a free upgrade.

I have upgraded to sp3. And now the missing mailboxes are saved.

It is somehow alarming. How can I be sure that no other mailboxes will be missed, I just can't verify every day!
