Making a Backup Exec 2014 a managed media server

When I run the install program on this server and try to choose the option to make it a "managed media server", the option is greyed out.   I didn't have this problem on several other standalone servers that were migrated to managed media servers.

...if it was added to a CASO then use BEutility.exe to remove it from the CASO.

If this hasn't been an MMS on a CASO then you don't need to run this...just do a normal installation.

Thanks!

You can also install the BE server as a standalone server first and when the install completes, choose the option to Install Options & Licenses to set the server as a Managed Media Server.

Usually, if the server cannot connect to the CASO, then the MMS option is greyed out.
