Media Changer not appearing in device manager

We've purchased an IBM TS2900 and connected it to our backup server. It appears as a "Tape Driver" but we can't get it to appear as a "Media Changer". We've installed the IBM drivers but it's just not appearing. Can anyone please advise on how to resolve this issue? I've searched everywhere for the Microsoft drivers but can't find a way to apply them given that the Media Changer isn't appearing in the device manager.

Hi,

This isn't a Backup Exec question...it's an IBM/Microsoft issue.

That said, make sure that the card you've attached the library too isn't a RAID controller, and rather an HBA supported for tape connection.

Also make sure all temination (if required) is done properly. BE will see what Windows sees...you need to fix this within Windows first.

Thanks!

I've attached the debug message for when we try to install the medium changer driver.
