Hello. I have two microsoft failover cluster servers on microsoft server 2016. On both nodes i have installed fileserver feature.
I have installed backup exec agents on both nodes and Veritas automatically imports Failover Cluster objects. I cant find how to backup this failoaver cluster virtual machines. I need to choose cluster object or individual virtual machines?
When i choose failover cluster objects i got this error on attachmentveritas.JPG

You would make your selecting for the Virtual Machine under the Virtual Cluster Name.

Example based on your screenshot but I am changing the names for simplicity.

Assume you have 2 physical nodes named Node1.vp.local and Node2.vp.local.  Your cluster name is VPCLUST.vp.local.

You would install the remote agent on Node1 and Node2.

Backup Exec should automatically detect and display Node1.vp.loca., Node2.vp.local, and -VPCLUS.vp.local <- Cluster Name / Resrouce.

To backup the virtual cluster machines you would browse and select them under VPCLUS.vp.local.

If the machines failover to another node Backup Exec is aware and will back them up from the appropriate node.
