Migrate BE 2014 SP1 to another Server with different OS and different Servername

Dear all,

I would like to move BackupExec from a Server 2008R2 to a Server2012R2 with different Servernames.
I already found some documantation on the veritas site but unfurtionatly the documents don't describe my needs to 100%.
Because there are different versions. I found these ones:

Maybe one of these documents are applicable for my migration? Or do somebody have already migratet BE to a new OS Version
and a different Servername which was working?

Thanks for the quick answer and the document.
I have another question: Is there something to consider if I use different partitions on the new Backupserver?
On the old one I have D; N; and O; but I would like to have only N; and O; on the new Server.

No, not at all. Partitions won't matter to BE as long as you have the Data and Catalogs folders on hand. I've had them installed on the C:\ and moved them to another partition with no issues.
