Migrate from 10d to 2010 R3

Hi,

I have a need to move from BE 10d to 2010 R3.

I have search the KB articles and there are no clear guides on how this is done.

I need to migrate BE10d (32bit) to BE 2010 R3 (64bit), can someone provide me with some instructions please?

Hi This won't be a straight upgrade ,but would be multistage upgrade. From 10d you will have to upgrade to version 11d or version 12.5 first and then upgrade to 2010r3 Please check link below http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH74415 Thanks

Before upgrading to any version stop SQL service and make a copy of DATA and CATALOGS 

folder which are located in the installation directory of BE. If you come across any issues you

can rebuild entire BE with the above folders
