BV - Admin Exploitation
50 Serveurs - 400 Workstations
VMWare / NETAPP / IBM / BACKUPEXEC / NAGIOS / SQL

Hi Boris,
No...at no stage did I advise you to install this on your production system. Please go back and check my previous (unedited!) post...I pointed you in the direction of the Beta, and stated that Symantec has had some issues that they are addressing with the Beta that is open.
It's up to you whether or not you read that link, and the subsequent links posted there where Symantec are actively involved with supplying information on the various issues being addressed.
The Beta does NOT fix the issue...it can, but by definition, a beta is simply a means to test the possible fix. The fix will be released when the Beta programme completes.
You really need to check that link to see what is being addressed.
As always, read the BE Software Compatibility and Hardware Compatibility Lists to make sure software/hardware is supported.
Thanks!

Hi,
All of these issues are known, and the Windows Server 2012 support issue is being addressed in the Beta...check the link below:

Ok, but BackupExec Is now installed on systems running in production.
You advice me to install a beta version of backup exec on production systems ?
This is not acceptable for us - we expected to have a finished product, instead you tell us that backupexec 2012 has known issues (critical for some of them) and it will be solved soon (on a beta version).
Dear sir, we just want to have those issues solved now ! or better we wish there were no Issues (we paid for it).
In any case we are blocked now. We need to backup our systems anyway.
This backup product were one of the best, in my opinion, from now this is the worst !
thanks by advance for reading me.
and have a nice day.
