Missed jobs Email notification is available in Backup Exec ??

I haven't received any email notifications on missed backup jobs . is there any alert category available in Backup Exec ?? is there any option that i would immidiately get alert via email notification when jobs missed .

Hi,

Yes there should be...check the Alerts section within Backup Exec and enable it. You can set an alert as well for when a job starts...

Notifications for Missed Jobs

Backup Exec allows users to configure automatic alerts notification to be sent if jobs are missed. This is available as a "Job Warning" alert category.

Hi Craig and Vjware thanks for the quick response . Vjware --> you mean that if i enable Job warning in alerts notification and in case if my job is getting missed , will i get notifaction in email as job missed . ??
