Move backup exec 10d to another partition and sql 2005

I am reading this article:
http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/319367.htm

Because we want to move backup exec to a new partition to save a little space.  Durring it I noticed that our sql agent license is for sql 2000, and we just recently upgraded all other systems to sql 2005 so we would like to upgrade this and get rid of 2000.  Will the sql 2000 agent license work for an install with 2005?  Can someone chat about how this would work?

We have windows server 2003 sp2

backup exec 10d sp4

It will defintaely work as Symantec sell the license for sql not for the version like 200,2005,2008.
Example : If you have a exchange 2003 and upgrade to 2007 or 2010 that doesn't mean you have to hae a new license you can use the same license for exchange. It is same for all the agents.

Hi There,

The SQL agent license for sql 2000 should work with sql 2005.
