Does anybody know it is possible to move all existing protected data to a new drive array, I also need to move the actual Backup Destination as well. We are using Backup Exec 11d CPS to provide scheduled continuous protection. The topology of our network dictates that a full re-sync of data is, well we'll say not preferred. I have just over 2 TB of data from roughly 70 servers on as many sites being backed up over 2Mb symmetrical lines. The current backup destination is on a FC SAN, this is no longer the preferred storage location for several reasons. I have a temporary area of 3TB setup on another unit to hold this data, it would be preferable if I could move the data & backup destination target to the new unit without having to re-sync all of the data (it would take about 3 weeks to do this) if this can be avoided...
Any help would be appreciated.
