Multiple Jobs Simultaniously

Hello, 

  We have recently upgraded to BE2012 and a nice RDX drive. Can I run multiple backup jobs at the same time rather than serially? It seems like this would be very plauseable.

...there should be no reason not to do this.

Just make sure that you don't run too many jobs and degrade the performance of the RDX.

When you run multiple jobs simultaneously, it does not necessarily mean that the jobs will run faster than if they were to run consecutively.  This is because there will be contention for resources, like CPU, I/O, network, etc.

You should slowly increase the number of simultaneous jobs, observe and stop when performance drops.
