NDMP Backup and Restore for NetApp Cluster Data ONTAP 8.3.1

Hello All

we have an NetApp FAS2552 Cluster Ontap Box Version 8.3.1P1.

we have backup exec 2015 and we have configured NDMP backup for CIFS shares which is on NetApp box.

we have configured Node scope mode fro the backup and we are facing the bellow issue

  • Cannot able to browse the folders while creating a backup job but i can able to select the full volume
  • Full Backup was successfull 
  • but while restoring the job is successfull with exceptions and no file is restored
  • came to know that Backup exec not compatible with netapp 8.3.1P1

is there any way to get a solution for this?

If this configuration in any way uses or requires the cspabilitities of "SVM mode" then as per the info in  http://www.veritas.com/docs/000022865

I don't think we support it in Backup Exec.
