Hi Ken,

KT stands for Knowledge transition, whenever a client outsources his IT infrastructure, they will give us the guidelines like how we managed the infrastructure and going ahead how you will have to manage it?

It has questionnarie to ask the clients like the information about backup exec environment, tape rotation, etc, etc, it should cover everything in Backup exec.

Again it doesn't have a standard template....

Please share if you have such KT plan or document.

I do not think there is any specific KT plan for Backup Exec as the requirements and scenario is completely different for different customers.

Still I would suggest the best place to find the information like the information about backup exec environment, tape rotation, etc, etc, which will cover everything in Backup exec is the Admin Guide. Again this will be just the reference about how the Media rotation and all can be done but there is no Fixed policy to it.

You can find the Admin guide is HELP>>ADMINSTRATION GUIDE in the Backup Exec console.
