Dear all,
I'm trying to backup a file server with that contain 10 folders up to 200GB. I'm using Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 to perform backup job, after backup successfully, I restore all data and see that all the NTFS permissions on the folders are gone.

I need to backup the data and preverse the NTFS permissions. Please show me how to do that.
Thanks in advance !

Are you performing a redirect restore or are u restoring to the original location ?
Backup exec can restore the security permission but not the share permission
Refer the following document http://support.veritas.com/docs/333167 When restoring drives or folders, share level permissions are not restored.

Make sure youhave not selected the option to Restore all the infromation Except security  in the restore job properties --Under the general Tab
by default the the option to to restore all information for files and directories is checked .
And you can also just restore the security information
