The backup options or selections for this job have changed since the last time it ran. You should run the full backup instance of this backup definition as soon as possible to ensure complete protection.
I get these Exception message on a windows 2003 EE SP2 and a Windows 2008 R2 EE box.
I would like to know a bit more about what are you trying to back up and which version of BE are you using.
That message appears when you did the following.
- A seleccion list, containing server A and B. Not C.
- Did a Full Backup job using the selection list for servers A and B.
- Added server C later to the selection list.
- Did an incremental/differential Backup job for A and B and C.
However, there's no full backup for C, so BE will alert you about it. And that's the message you are seeing. If there's no full backup, you can't go back using incremental o diferential. You must have a Full backup set before you can ensure differential or incremental restores.
