Hello ,
We are using Backup exec 2010 with OS windows server 2008 R2
when running certain jobs, the network disconnect between some devices especially the backup server and the server being backed up as soon as the job begin, that cause its failure , is this related to type of files being backed up or its size or something else?
Thanks

Could you post the exact error message from the job log?
Also let us know what kind of data you are trying to backup.

Network disconnects are often NIC, driver, or switching issues. Either on the BE server or the clients. It's easier if you have a dedicated BE server, to start upgrading firmware, and drivers for that system, and work out from there. Don't forget your switches too.

Kind of data are different IIS files (*.aspx, *.aspx.cs, *.cfm, *htm, *.html, *.php, *.config, *.rdlc, *.xsl, *gif....etc"

Thanks for concern ,
This error occure with certain jobs, and not all jobs. other jobs are running with no problem so I don't think that it is a net work error.

Does the remote agent crash ? Is there a corresponding event 1000 logged ?
Also, if running any AV, do ensure it is set to exclude from scanning beremote.exe and other BE processes.
Lastly, if the remote agent is not crashing, then try setting the registry keys as per this post - https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/backup-exec-2014-job-failing-due-network
