We are a non-profit with an NFR license which means we have no support. I have a newly installed backup exec. I started the catalog of the previous storage backups and we are now on 7 days and counting. However, I see the Job Rate moving from 900 MB/min to now after 7 days to 19MB/min does this mean the catalog job is cataloging or has the job stopped? There have been no errors and the Active and scheduled jobs activity bar is still green and moving. Is this normal? Should I stop the job and restart it?

Would suggest you first check the catalog folder for any activity
(...\program files\veritas\backup exec\catalogs).
In the catalog folder you should see a subfolder with your server name and within your catalog files which are being created.
Check if new catalog files (.fh / .xml) are still appearing; if so then the catalog job is still doing its job.
