Hi,

refer to the TN below for best practices:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO74445

The Admin Guide also has the steps required to configure this so check that out.

Thanks!

If the application uses more than one SQL databases, then you should not backup the individual databases.  See my blog below

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/blogs/can-i-backup-sap-database-sql-or-oracle-agent

You should use the backup utility provided by SAP to backup the databases and then backup the resultant flat files with BE.

Thanks a lot for your help ( pkh, CraigV).  After agent installation in both nodes, automatically BE enables the cluster services as virtual servers and I could backup an instance of MSSQL where is my SAP database
