Hi,

i've a BE 9.1 on windows 2003 SBS.

When i schedule a job with start time and end time values it doesn't start with "not in time window" status.
i've just tried to modify the value of time window, now the values are: 21:00:00 for start and 23:59:59 for end.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What that means is that the job will start between 21:00 and 23:59:59.
So for example if the server is done, or the Be services are stopped during this time, and they are started up at say 1am, the backup will not run and get a Not in Time window error.
I suggest changing the Time window to be 21:00 and 20:59.59 - this will give the backup a 24 hour window to start in.

I've changed the starting time in 21:00 and the ending time in 20:59:59.
The services are all active, but the process is in "not in the window" status

Hello,

Try creating a new job and then follow the steps in the technote given previously, i.e. http://support.veritas.com/docs/264665

Test the results. If the problem persists, elaborate on the settings in the time window. Awaiting results on this.In case we do not receive your update within two business days, this post would be marked ‘assumed answered’ and would be moved to ‘answered questions’ pool.
