Notification email not being sent

Hello

I have attached the SGMon log from an attempt to send a test email from the Backup Exec 2014 server. Could someone please tell me what I need to do so that the messages will go thru?

I think I have found the problem. My McAfee ePO kept applying a policy blocking emails, which probably caused the problem. Once I deleted this on the Backup Exec server, I was able to send the Test email. Hopefully this will solve my problem. Thanks for all your help.

It seems you haven't attached the log file. I would suggest you to check the below article.

Hi, What is the error you are getting? You can use these two documents to check your set up http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH186581http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH158881

If there is a port blocked this could cause this issue.  Use telntet to test the SMTP notifications  http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH22965
