Oracle archive logs handling

Hi,

one question: Backup Exec needs to have Oracle DB's in archive log mode.

How can I manage archive logs after backup? Is there any option that allows me to delete archive logs older than x days, or something like this, or have I to write a sort of script to be fired by BE after backup completes?

Hi,

In the properties of the backup job under Oracle, there is an option "Delete backed up archive log files".

And in version 9.1 and 10, how can I do that? In job properties I have no mention of oracle properties.

Hi,

This option was added in 11d.  In Backup Exec 9.1 or 10.x there was no way to remove the archive logs from the backup job.
