Oracle backed up in windows and need to be resotored to Linux

Hi,

I backup my Oracle database in windows and I want to duplicate the database to my Linux,

when I tried restore controlfile, from the debug log, I found out backup exec will try to find backup in format

Oracle-Linux::\\DEMO01\DEMO1

the Oracle backed up in linux has the format 

Oracle-Win::\\DEMO01\DEMO1

Is there any others way out?

Don't think this is possible. You will have to restore the Oracle files to a Windows machines, and then copy them to the Linux machine.
