Problem with Backup exec remote agent

whenever i am trying to start backup exec remote agent service it is giving an following error

Error 1053 : "the service did not respond to start or control request in timely fashion"

i am also giving the debug log for the agent...

can anbody tell me what is the problem...

Can you please post the event id in the event viewer?

Also share the BE version details, OS details of machine in question.

we are using be 2010 r3.be server running with windows server 2008 r2 x64 bit..and remote agent on windows server 2003 x86 bit os

If MS outlook installed on the media server please set it as your default mail client.

MS Outlook as the default mail client instead of MS Outlook Express on Internet Explorer option --> Internet Programs

it is working now(after i set the default mail client is ms outlook)...

now i am in  big confusion...how it is related to mail client...?

Backup Exec remote agent always does it on the backround to check for a default mail client. This is how the inside program is made in BE.  So, all it does is a verification check whether outlook is installed on the mahchine, if yes it would like it to be set as a default mail client. It does check for lot of things as you see on your logs and does check for outlook as well.
