Having problem with storage. Symantec report storage is full. However, when viewing the job history memory should be enough. Please tell me how to solve it.
Thanks.

OK, so this seems o be your scenario:
1. Backing up to disk (you don't say if these are internal disks or from a NAS/SAN/DAS)
2. B2D created on this LUN which now out of storage space.
3. Windows sees the dik as being full.
So...if Windows ses this drive as being full, then BE will also see it as being full. If, for instance, you were backing up to a LUN of 1TB presented from a NAS/DAS/SAN that had 7TB available (meaning 6TB left after presening this LUN), then neither Windows nor BE are aware of the additional space.
You need to increase of the volume or decreae retention times on the B2D.
Thanks!

Hi,
what version of Backyup Exec? Are you appending to the B2D files or overwriting them? Are you backing up to a NAS or local disk or iSCSI etc?
Are you sure that the size of the B2D hasn't been limited?
Thanks!

Version 2012 SP2. Configured to overwrite files.
I backing up to disk storage connected as logical disk.
B2D limited only by the amount of disk space.
Links don`t help for my problem.
Sorry for google translate.
