Procedimiento para extraer una cinta

En mi oficina tengo instalado el Backup Exec con un DELL Power Vault 124T LTO3 y es un requerimiento que todas las semanas se lleve la ultima cinta de Backup de la semana fuera del local en otra oficina a varios kilometros de la nuestra. ¿Cual sería el procedimiento para por ejemplo sacar la cista de esta semana e introducir la de la semana pasada?

1) You need to enable the I/O or mailslot in your tape library.  This is done by accessing the tape library through its front panel or Web interface.

2) In the job which runs last in the week, add an export stage which will place the used tape in the mailslot after the job is completed.

3) To return the tape to the tape library, put the tape in the mailslot and then right-click on an empty slot and select Import.  This will place that tape in that slot.  If you are not using barcode labels, you need to select auto-inventory in your import job, otherwise the tape would not be recognised by BE.
